About Us

Community Minds Grow Gardens

We grow a wide range of vegetables, including cultural favorites like spider crop and callalou, on leased farmland while creating spaces for healing, community building, and mental well-being.

Rooted in our agricultural traditions, we believe that nurturing the soil nurtures our souls.
  • A Black-led community garden committed to wellness, culture, and food justice.

Our Mission

To empower our community by growing fresh, culturally meaningful food, supporting mental wellness through farming activities, and building spaces of belonging that honor our agricultural heritage and strengthen future generations.

Our vision

To one day own land and expand our harvests to nourish even more families.
